Nob©r© Inaugurates ‘Naba Koanga’ Roundabout as Symbol of Sovereignty and Vigilance

Zoundw©ogo: The "Naba Koanga" roundabout in Nob©r© was inaugurated under the banner of sovereignty and civic vigilance. The commune of Nob©r© inaugurated the 'Naba Koanga' roundabout and several others on Saturday, during a ceremony that mobilized the vital forces of the Nazinon region and allowed the population to reaffirm its support for the progressive and popular Revolution as well as its commitment to the sovereignty of Burkina Faso.

According to Burkina Information Agency, these infrastructures, beyond urban beautification and improved traffic flow, are presented by local authorities as a symbol of endogenous initiatives in support of the revolutionary dynamic and national sovereignty. The ceremony was also marked by calls for social cohesion, citizen vigilance and support for efforts to secure the territory.

'The population of Nob©r© remains united. The action of each citizen counts to guarantee our stability,' said Djibil Sawadogo, a representative of the citizen watch group. The Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) were commended for their efforts in securing the country. Prayers were offered by traditional and religious leaders for peace and the protection of the nation.

On the social front, the "AES Laguemtaaba" association awarded certificates to 303 women trained in powdered soap making and "K´k´ Dunda" dyeing, as part of their economic empowerment. The ceremony, punctuated by cultural entertainment, ended in an atmosphere of general mobilization in support of local development and the sovereignty of Burkina Faso.
