The national anthem, Ditany¨, resonated through the courtyard, sung by students of the Passintinga primary school in the local Moore language.

Following the ceremony, Pierre Kafando stressed the significance of this third phase of civic engagement. He stated, "This flag that we have just raised is the symbol of our regained dignity and our shared will to build a sovereign Burkina Faso," having read the President of Burkina Faso's speech.

Pierre Kafando passionately urged community leaders and municipal employees to take action. He said, "I urge each of you to play a useful role in our society. We must no longer be mere spectators, but actors in a progressive popular revolution that puts the common good above all else."

Emphasizing the importance of social cohesion, the mayor added, "Be messengers of the will of our highest authorities; in this way, we will put an end to imperialism. It is through unity and active participation that we will meet the challenges facing our community," concluding his speech to applause.
