Noumbiel/National Deme Sira Prize: SYNAGUYA Association President Dedicates Trophy to Resilient Population of Noumbiel

Noumbiel: During the gala dinner for the first edition of the national solidarity campaign 'Deme Sira,' held in Ouagadougou on the night of February 13, an award was presented to the SYNAGUYA association of Batie. Upon returning to the town of 'Da Maar,' the association's president, Soungalo Coulibaly, stated in an interview that he dedicated the trophy to the entire resilient population of Noumbiel.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the promotion of endogenous values of peace, social cohesion, and living together is what earned the SYNAGUYA association a place among the ten distinguished personalities selected by the jury at the end of a national competition which brought together more than 36 competitors from the 13 regions of Burkina Faso.

Back in Batie, the association went to present its trophy and express its gratitude to the province's top official, the High Commissioner of Noumbiel, Drissa Hema, for his guidance and willingness to support it. 'We express our sincere gratitude for your guidance and willingness to support us,' said the association's president, Soungalo Coulibaly.

On behalf of the association and in view of your leadership, "we dedicate this trophy to the entire resilient population of Noumbiel," he added. While congratulating the association for the efforts already made in promoting living together in the province, Mr. Hema also invited other associations to work more in the same direction, especially in a security context which is worthwhile.
