Nouna Development Association Donates Cement and Equipment to Faso Mªbo

Ouagadougou: The High Commissioner of the Koosin province, Noufo Dembel, presided over a ceremony in Nouna for the handover of donations by the Association for the Development of the Commune of Nouna (ADCN). The donation included 10 tons of cement, 10 wheelbarrows, and 20 shovels valued at 1,435,600 CFA francs.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ADCN, comprising residents of the commune living in Ouagadougou, has prioritized this donation to Faso Mªbo as part of its annual program. The president of ADCN, Boulali Bonaventure Traor©, noted that the association successfully pooled resources amounting to 1,435,600 CFA francs, enabling the provision of the materials.

The donation was complemented by contributions from other associations, including the young mechanics association, the Benkady cooperative, the Bellini training center, and Moumouni Iriya. These groups collectively donated an additional 13 tons of cement, 25 shovels, 10 wheelbarrows, 300 bibs, and a pack of gloves.

The initiative aligns with the current efforts and call from the President of Faso for the construction and development of Burkina Faso. High Commissioner Dembel encouraged other communes, such as Bomborokuy, Djibasso Madouba, and Sono, to emulate ADCN's commitment to national development.
