Official Bodies Collaborate with Traditional Leaders in Ouri for Peace

Daman©: The president of the special delegation of the Ouri commune, Sibiri Hermann Bamogo, along with representatives from the commune's official bodies, visited the traditional leaders on May 15, 2026, within the sacred precinct of the Ouri chief. The visit included incantations, blessings, and prayers offered for peace and social cohesion in the community.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the chief of Ouri, Gnirkao Lougu©, expressed gratitude for the initiative, wishing health and peace to all workers of the commune. He acknowledged the efforts of the commune's representatives, saying, "We thank you for everything you do for the well-being of the village. May the free land of Ouri grant you health, peace, and many blessings in your various services."

The municipal authority stated that their collaboration with the traditional leaders was aimed at strengthening community cohesion. They emphasized the importance of their presence at the celebration of customs and traditions, seeking blessings and protection from the ancestral authorities.

The traditional leader of Ouri concluded by offering prayers for the nation's peace and President Captain Ibrahim Traor©. He highlighted the president's efforts in supporting the elderly and the sick, praying for his protection and long life with the support of ancestral spirits.

The delegation expressed satisfaction with the visit and left a symbolic envelope to the customary authorities on behalf of the hierarchy to ensure the success of the day.
