Tannounyan: The governor of the Tannounyan region, Patrice Yeye, officially launched aerobics sessions at the Banfora governorate. Initiated by the regional directorate of sports, youth, and employment in collaboration with the Banfora governorate, the launch ceremony brought together several regional organizations at the governorate headquarters.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Governor Patrice Yeye commended the turnout of administrative officials and representatives from various departments. He encouraged them to embrace this initiative by participating in the aerobics sessions that will now be held every first Monday of the month in the evening, coinciding with the raising of the national flag.
The structure hosting the ceremony of raising the national colors will also organize the aerobic session on the same day in the evening, fostering collective participation and strengthening team spirit within the administration.
The Governor emphasized the importance of sport in daily life, highlighting that regular physical activity contributes to maintaining health, preventing illnesses, and promoting overall well-being. Beyond health benefits, sport is a factor in social cohesion, fostering closer ties between departments and promoting community spirit.
Mr. Yeye expressed gratitude to the staff of the Regional Directorate of Sports, Youth, and Employment for their commitment in facilitating these aerobics sessions for the region's workers. This initiative aims to promote a healthy work environment and strengthen cohesion among stakeholders in the regional administration.
