Sandbondtenga: The online media outlets Kaya Info and El TV have made a significant contribution to the Faso Mebo program in Kaya by donating 10 bags of cement on August 29, 2025. This effort aligns with the call made by the President of Faso for citizen mobilization to support national development.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the donors emphasized that the donation, amounting to half a ton of cement, represents the commitment of media professionals to contribute to nation-building beyond their traditional roles. "This donation aims to encourage people to support the call of the President of Faso, and to demonstrate that media professionals can, beyond the pen, microphone, and camera, actively contribute to building the country," stated Madi Ouedraogo, the spokesperson for the donors.

Ouedraogo mentioned that this gesture is meant to inspire other citizens to participate actively in developing the nation. The donation was warmly received by Adama Simpore, the first vice-president of the Kaya Special Communal Delegation, who praised the initiative. "In addition to covering Faso Mebo's activities, the media came to offer cement and support the young people in their work. This gesture deserves to be commended," he remarked.

Simpore also urged other citizens and social actors to follow the example set by the online media outlets. After the presentation, media personnel present at the event actively participated in assisting the young people by classifying the paving stones that had already been made.
