Orodara, The Association for the great return of Africa to the land of its ancestors (LEGRATA), noted on Monday the damage caused by the fire on the roof of the Totoye fetish.

“We came to see the act of vandalism, to support the guardian family of this place of worship and to see what must be done to repair the act which was carried out, both spiritually and judicially”, indicated Naamwiinbèguré Constantine Somé.

He is the president of the Association for the great return of Africa to the land of his ancestors (LEGRATA).

As a reminder, the roof of the fetish “Tôtoye” or “the altar of fertility and marriage” located in sector 2 of Orodara, was set on fire on the night of Sunday, October 24 by an unknown person.

A week later, the reasons for the fire have not yet been clarified.

For the president of LEGRATA, his structure, which works to promote African spirituality and values, cannot remain indifferent to such acts.

This approach of LEGRATA was greeted by the spokesperson of the customaries, Yacouba Coulibaly, who made them the genesis of the tragedy.

According to President Constantin Somé, his association will “soon” set up its section of the province of Kénédougou.
