Oudalan Cross-Country Race and Aerobics Session Inaugurate 2026 Sports Activities

According to Burkina Information Agency, the participants covered a distance of approximately three kilometers through the city streets in a friendly atmosphere, demonstrating their commitment to promoting sport for all. Following the race, an aerobics session was led by Urbain Ou©draogo, the Provincial Director of Sports and Recreation for Oudalan. For over 40 minutes, participants engaged in stretching and flexibility exercises in a rhythmic atmosphere.

The physical exercises aimed to consolidate the effort made during the race, highlighting the health benefits of regular physical activity. The Provincial Director of Sports emphasized that the initiative's goal is to raise awareness among workers about the importance of staying active. He stated that the Provincial Directorate plans to expand similar initiatives throughout 2026 to foster a sustainable sports culture in Oudalan.

Valentin Mar©, the High Commissioner of Oudalan Province, praised the strong turnout and encouraged incorporation of daily exercise into routines for well-being and productivity. He also expressed gratitude towards the authorities, provincial driving forces, and security forces for their commitment.
