Ousmane Boly declares his candidacy for president of the FBF

Ouagadougou: Ousmane Boly declared Thursday, in a press release sent to the AIB, his candidacy for the presidency of the Burkinabè Football Federation to ' build with everyone, the solid foundations of Burkinabè football sustainably efficient'.'We have taken the initiative, for several months, with all the stakeholders from the 13 regions, to generate a consensual candidacy for the presidency of the Burkinabè Football Federation,' declared Ousmane Boly in his note of which the AIB has had a copy.He indicated that 'the consensus was on our modest person in view of our experience of more than 27 years as a club manager, 12 years at the Burkinabè Football Federation and our knowledge of the bodies and authorities of international football'.Taking a retrospective look at the management of the governing body of Burkina Faso football, he underlines that 'the performances of our clubs and our national teams have gone up and down despite constant support from the authorities and partners'.Ousmane Boly is a sp ecialist in project management and is the founding president of 9 Athletic football clubs (D3 clubs) and was in the bodies of the FBF for 12 years.'We contributed in particular to the development of major projects that we defended at FIFA. These achievements now benefit all players in the world of football. In addition, in our capacity as former auditor of the FBF, we were able to assess the financing and resource management problems of Burkina Faso football,' he mentioned.The declared candidate therefore believes that 'we are able to build with everyone, the solid foundations of lastingly successful Burkinabè football'.Ousmane Boly, who calls on 'concerned and committed actors to join us in writing a new page of Burkinabè football shining in the concert of nations', says he presents his candidacy 'as that of the cohesion of the actors and good governance'.Ousmane Boly is the 4th candidate declared to run for the position of president of the Burkinabè Football Federation after Ali Guissou, Rahim Ouédr aogo, Oumarou Sawdogo.The outgoing FBF president Lazare Banssé will not stand for re-election.
