Koosin: Parents mobilized for the construction of the Ourouko school field. The Ourouko school council office launched the work on the school field for the 2026 agricultural campaign on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. Following the plowing, the parents of the students mobilized to plant several crops, including millet and beans.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this participation of parents of students reflects the community's involvement in the management of the school's agricultural project. This activity is part of the national policy to promote school fields, the objective of which is to support school canteens through productions made within the establishments.
This initiative also helps to strengthen community participation in school life. The school's management is counting on the commitment of the various stakeholders to ensure the monitoring and maintenance of the field until harvest time, for the benefit of the students.
