The High Commissioner of the province of Passoré, Laurent K. Kontogom officially installed Friday in Yako, the new provincial director in charge of Culture, Arts, and Tourism of Passoré, Gombila Koala in his new role.
After a little over 13 years at the head of the Provincial Directorate of Culture, Arts and Tourism of Passoré, Sibiri Ernest Yelkouni passes the baton to the director of cinema and audiovisual, Gombila Koala.
The official installation ceremony took place in the multipurpose room of the Yako youth center in the presence of the constituted bodies, friends and acquaintances of the directors who entered and left.
Before proceeding with the installation of Gombila Koala, the former provincial director in charge of culture, Sibiri Ernest Yelkouni took stock of the 13 years of management spent in Passoré.
The dean of the provincial directors of Passoré mentioned, among other things, the construction of tourist, artistic and cultural infrastructures during its management.
Mr. Yelkouni also mentioned the creation of several artistic and cultural activities in the locality, including the festival of tales and the night of tales.
The new provincial director in charge of the Culture of Passoré, Gombila Koala expressed his gratitude to the most authorities of the Transition for the renewed confidence in him for his appointment.
He said he counted on God, his collaborators as well as the populations for the accomplishment of the mission.
“I will spare no effort to earn that trust. I say thank you to the population of Passoré for the welcome and the mark of solidarity reserved for me. said Mr. Koala.
The High Commissioner of Passoré, Laurent K. Kontogom as well as the representative of the directors and heads of services of Passoré, Halidou Konfé, sent their sincere congratulations to the outgoing and entering Drector while wishing full success to Gombila Koala.
The new provincial director in charge of culture in Passoré will have spent at least 3 years exercising the same functions in Loroum, before coming to Passoré.
