Patriotic Immersion Program Launched in Bogande: High Commissioner Beogo Commends Discipline Among Youth

Bogande: The High Commissioner of Gnagna, Jean Baptiste Beogo, visited the 371 young participants of the inaugural patriotic immersion program, expressing his satisfaction with the discipline displayed and urging the youth to embrace patriotism.

According to Burkina Information Agency, High Commissioner Jean Baptiste Beogo was warmly received by military officials responsible for the program. His visit aimed to review the progress of the activities and offer encouragement to both the participants and the supervisory teams. The event, which took place on Friday, August 29, 2025, in Bogande, marked the start of a new initiative aimed at fostering patriotism among the youth of Burkina Faso.

During the visit, Beogo witnessed a brief demonstration of collective discipline, highlighted by the young participants' enthusiastic affirmations of "Affirmative, my lieutenant!" This display of discipline was cited by Beogo as evidence of a growing spirit of rigor and obedience among the attendees.

In his address to the participants, Beogo congratulated the recent graduates and encouraged all involved to commit themselves fully to the program. "You will acquire knowledge, values, and virtues advocated by our homeland. I urge you to follow with selflessness in order to become true patriots for a new Burkina," he stated, emphasizing the importance of the values being taught.

The High Commissioner also inspected the support services, such as the health team and the canteen of the provincial high school, commending their dedication and contributions to the program's success. He extended his gratitude to the supervisors and trainers, acknowledging their essential role in imparting civic and citizen values.

The patriotic immersion aims to instill a sense of discipline, national pride, and responsibility in the young participants, thereby laying the groundwork for a renewed Burkina Faso.
