Ouagadougou: The Patriotic Movement for Development (MPD), Dokuy sub-section, has made a significant contribution to support individuals participating in the mandatory patriotic immersion of 2026 by providing food supplies valued at 120,000 CFA francs.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this generous donation, which included ten 25kg bags of rice and four packs of Lipton tea, was formally handed over to Emmanuel Coulibaly, the principal of the provincial multipurpose high school. The contribution was aimed at supporting the conscripts engaged in the patriotic immersion program.

At the forefront of this initiative was Drissa Sangar, president of the Dokuy sub-section of the MPD. He was accompanied by Adama Sangar, the secretary general, and Dramane Sidib, the treasurer. On behalf of the provincial cell’s president, Drissa Sangar expressed gratitude towards the donors, highlighting their dedication and sense of duty towards the conscripts.

Drissa Sangar also emphasized the MPD’s commitment to fostering patriotic values and assured continued support for initiatives that promote such ideals. He reiterated the intention of the Dokuy sub-section to remain aligned with the progressive revolution, which aims to instill civic and patriotic education among young people, preparing them to become the next generation of leaders.
