Paving Project at Hound© Medical Center Supported by Gendarmerie Squadron


Ouagadougou: The 23rd Mobile Gendarmerie Squadron of Hound© contributed on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, to the paving operation of the Medical Center with surgical unit (CMA) of Hound© by handing over a ton of cement and participating in the making of paving stones. The handover of the donation and the paving work took place in the presence of Captain Martin Tontepambo, who is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Mobile Gendarmerie Group of Bobo-Dioulasso.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the High Commissioner of Tuy Province, Issiaka Segda, expressed his gratitude to the 23rd Mobile Gendarmerie Squadron for its community and patriotic act. He stated that the project to pave the grounds of the CMA aims to improve sanitation in the area. He acknowledged the efforts of the gendarmerie forces in ensuring security and highlighted the quality of collaboration between the 23rd Squadron and local authorities.



The gendarmes also participated in creating the paving stones with support from the Volunteers for the Defence of the Homeland (VDP) of the commune.
