Tuy Province Gears Up for First Patriotic Immersion Event in 2026

Hound©: Members of the Tuy provincial cell for compulsory patriotic immersion convened in Hound© to strategize for the successful execution of the 2026 edition of the event, which the province will host for the first time.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting was presided over by the High Commissioner of Tuy province, Issiaka Segda. It provided a platform for participants to discuss the organizational challenges associated with the mandatory patriotic immersion and to propose viable solutions for its successful implementation.

Key issues discussed included the logistics of managing the expected influx of participants, ensuring adequate food provision, and preparing the sites for accommodation. Drawing from experiences of prior editions held in other locations, the cell members recommended several actions. These included developing the sites for the participants, ensuring food availability, supervising attendees, arranging transport, and addressing health, water supply, and electricity access concerns.

The participants committed to conducting field assessments soon to evaluate the current state of infrastructure, hygiene, and safety measures for future participants. Proposals were put forward to enhance community involvement and support, mobilize resources, and engage municipalities in addressing organizational challenges.
