PDS Engages with Teachers Over Working Conditions at Arbinda ‘A’ Primary School

Soum/arbinda: The PDS is familiarizing itself with the working conditions of teachers. The president of the special delegation (PDS) of the Arbinda commune, Mr. Lazard Kieme, visited the Arbinda 'A' public primary school this Thursday. The purpose of the visit was to encourage the teaching staff and to inquire about their working conditions.

According to Burkina Information Agency, during the visit, the teachers presented several grievances to the PDS, including the high number of students per class, the lack of desks and benches, the need for electrification of classrooms, and the provision of textbooks.

In response to the concerns raised, Mr. Lazard Kieme promised to work towards finding appropriate solutions, within the limits of available resources. He also encouraged teachers to continue their efforts to promote education in the community.

Addressing the students, the president of the special delegation urged them to be more serious and diligent in their schoolwork, reminding them that they are the future leaders of the commune of Arbinda in particular and of Burkina Faso in general.
