According to Burkina Information Agency, the traditional raising of the colors took place under the chairmanship of Secretary General Issa Dabone, representing the High Commissioner. During the ceremony, Dabone commended the people's commitment to the ideals of the Progressive and Popular Revolution, highlighting the achievements of the Defense and Security Forces and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland in retaking the territory.
The Secretary General extended his wishes for peace and health across all segments of the population. He paid tribute to all the constituted bodies of the province and encouraged those serving the nation to find personal satisfaction in fulfilling their duties. Dabone urged them to remain steadfast alongside the people who work tirelessly day and night with the administration to restore peace.
