Bagré:The President of the Special Delegation of the commune of Bagré, Comrade W. Gérard Maré, led a flag-raising event at the Bagré General Education College on Wednesday, October 8, 2026.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony featured a reading of a message from President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré. The President's message encouraged the integration of national productions into daily life, emphasizing actions in communication, clothing, and especially food.

Maré highlighted the importance of Bagré as a significant rice-producing area and urged a reduction in dependency on imported rice. He suggested that local consumption would not only support healthy eating but also boost the income of local farmers.

The event was attended by administrative officials, department heads, members of the Defense and Security Forces, and the college's students and staff. Comrade Maré concluded by thanking attendees and urging them to implement the President’s guidelines.
