People of Man© Celebrate Improved Security and Agriculture Achievements

Man©:Residents of the commune of Man© have expressed their satisfaction with the positive changes observed since the People's Progressive Revolution (RPP), particularly in terms of security improvements, the return of displaced populations, and enhanced support for agricultural production.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Aminata Ou©draogo, a restaurant owner in downtown Man©, noted the improved security situation and the return of people to their villages. She highlighted that three years ago, more than two-thirds of the villages were completely evicted, but since 2024, everyone has been able to return to their land and carry out their activities freely.

Salif Ou©draogo, mentioning the resettlement of internally displaced persons (IDPs), welcomed the support for production, which included the provision of equipment and agricultural inputs as part of the agricultural offensive. He praised Comrade President Ibrahim Traor© for his leadership in state affairs.

Ibrahim Ou©draogo, a trader at the large market in Man©, discussed past mobility difficulties due to insecurity. He explained that it was once impossible to reach Kaya, the provincial capital, directly, requiring a detour of over 130 kilometers. Now, the road is passable and used 24 hours a day, providing significant relief for traders.

Kassoum Ou©draogo, a kiosk owner who had previously ceased operations, expressed his happiness with the improved security and the better working and living conditions for the population. He had stopped his business between 2022 and 2024 due to security concerns but is now optimistic about the future.
