Poa Hosts University Information Day for New Graduates


Ouagadougou: Action €°duc-Plus, in collaboration with the Club des Jeunes Stisseurs, organized a university information and orientation day at the Lyc©e D©partemental de Poa. This marked the fourth edition of the event aimed at benefiting new baccalaureate holders.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the event commenced at 10 a.m. and was led by Yacouba Boro, the head of UOi24 in the Nando region. Boro emphasized that the activity is organized annually to assist new high school graduates in selecting their fields of study and cities. The objective is to equip them with essential information for making informed decisions and avoiding choices they might regret later.



Aziz Kiendrebeogo, responsible for organizing the day’s events, expressed satisfaction with the strong turnout of new high school graduates. He congratulated them on passing their baccalaureate exams and wished them success in their university studies. He also acknowledged the dedication of Amara Ouattara, president of Action €°duc-Plus, and Issouf Kabor©, president of the Club des Jeunes Stisseurs, for their role in supporting this initiative.



On behalf of the beneficiaries, Ibrahim Ouedraogo, a new high school graduate, appreciated the event, stating that the information provided would help him and his classmates make informed decisions about their university courses. Action €°duc-Plus and the Club des Jeunes Stisseurs aim to guide new high school graduates toward higher education through this initiative.
