Poni: A Burkinabe expatriate, Hien Ollo, residing in Ivory Coast, donated two tons of cement on Tuesday to the presidential initiative Faso Mebo. The donation ceremony was attended by the High Commissioner of the Poni province, Bepampo Ouoba, and the president of the special delegation of the commune of Gaoua, Siaka Ouattara.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Mr. Ouoba expressed the gratitude of the country's highest authorities to Hien Ollo for his generous contribution. He called upon all citizens, both within the country and abroad, to emulate Ollo's example in supporting the Faso-Mebo initiative, which aims at the development and construction of the nation.

Hien Ollo stated that his donation was driven by a sense of pride and loyalty to his homeland. He remarked that he has been following the efforts of the Burkinabe authorities, security forces, and citizens in ensuring the security and progress of the country with great admiration. He recounted a personal experience at the Gaoua Regional Hospital Center, where he and his wife received commendable care, which further motivated him to contribute.

Ollo also encouraged his fellow countrymen to support Captain Ibrahim Traore and his government in their pursuit of a sovereign and thriving Burkina Faso.

As a reminder, the Faso-Mebo initiative in the Djoro region began accepting contributions on October 2nd, under the leadership of Governor Siaka Barro, as part of the days dedicated to patriotic commitment and citizen participation.
