Ouagadougou: Schools A and B celebrate excellence with 100% in the 2026 CEP: The public primary schools A and B in Pouni celebrated their best students on the occasion of the Day of Excellence, placed under the patronage of comrade Bawomon Nbi, son of the locality.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony brought together the village chief, representatives from the CCEB (Community Education and Training Center), the PDS (Departmental Social Development Service), Issaka Barry representing the project manager Pema Neya, as well as numerous parents and guests. After the welcoming remarks from the village chief, the principal of School A, Yacouba Ouily, presented a report showing a 100% pass rate on the 2026 CEP (Primary School Leaving Certificate) for both schools.

The CCEB commended the commitment of Pouni's leaders and congratulated the teachers on this achievement and the harmony between the schools. The patron, Bawomon Nbi, encouraged the award recipients to cultivate humility, hard work, and respect. He thanked parents and teachers, "the builders of the nation," and pledged to support the schools of Pouni before officially opening the day.

The representative of the project manager and the PDS congratulated the award winners. The PDS reaffirmed its commitment to education in the community. Gifts were presented to the top students. The fifth-grade teachers from the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school years received certificates and financial incentives.

An emotional moment also marked the ceremony with the retirement of Maixent Serge Marie Sawadogo, honored with a certificate of recognition for loyal services rendered to the Pouni school.

The ceremony concluded with the planting of 75 moringa plants donated by ADRA on the grounds of school A.
