Principal’s Cup Final Showcases Student Talent and Creativity in Sapouy

Ouagadougou: The high school in sector 2 celebrates the talent and creativity of its students through the Principal's Cup final. The Sapouy Sector 2 high school concluded its sports and cultural activities for the 2025-2026 school year in a festive and friendly atmosphere, marked by the Principal's Cup final, artistic performances, and an exhibition of works created by the students.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony brought together educational and traditional authorities, teachers, students, and several guests who came to encourage the initiatives of the schoolchildren. In his address, the school principal, Noufou Kabor©, praised the commitment of the students and supervisors for the success of the activities. He indicated that these platforms for expression not only strengthen cohesion among the students but also reveal their talents and creativity.

The representative of the sponsor, T©bi Niangao, congratulated the students on their dynamism and innovative spirit. He encouraged them to cultivate excellence, discipline, and patriotism, while also urging various stakeholders to provide more support to young people in their initiatives. On the sporting front, the final of the Principal's Cup pitted the 2nd C class against the 1st D class. After a hard-fought match played in a spirit of fair play, 2nd C prevailed over 1st D, thus winning the trophy for this edition.

Beyond the sporting events, the festivities featured artistic performances and craft exhibitions showcasing the learners' skills. Visitors were able to discover an incubator presented by students and their instructor, "Koko donda" loincloths made by the learners, as well as several inventions and creations illustrating their creative genius.

Impressed by the quality of the exhibited works, the jury members expressed their amazement at the students' potential. They felt that these young talents primarily need guidance and mentorship to further develop their abilities and contribute to the community's development. This celebration allowed the high school in sector 2 to highlight the artistic, technical, and entrepreneurial skills of the learners, in a spirit of promoting excellence, living together, and valuing school initiatives.
