Promoting Football in Burkina: FBF and SCOOP-CA Burkina Mine Seal a Partnership for a New Dynamic

Ouagadougou: The Burkinabe Football Federation (FBF) signed a partnership agreement on Friday at the National Technical Center in Ouagadougou to promote a new dynamic in Burkinabe football, the AIB noted.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the partnership with SCOOP-CA Burkina Mine, a network of mining investors in Burkina Faso, will last one year. SCOOP-CA Burkina Mine is committed to financially supporting the equipment and training projects of the FBF's marketing, communications, and media commission.

"The interest of our structure lies on several levels. First, it is to respond to a call, a need launched by the President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, in terms of sport. It is a patriotic act to respond to the call of the President of Burkina Faso. The second element is the promotion of sport and to encourage other companies to follow suit," explained the Director General of SCOOP-CA Burkina Mine, Abdoul Razaky Kabor©.

FBF President Oumarou Sawadogo expressed his delight in signing this partnership, stating, "every time you have partners to support you in accomplishing your mission, you are happy to receive them. And diversifying my partners also allows me to have many strings to my bow."

This agreement aims to resolve numerous issues concerning the FBF's Communications Commission. President Oumarou Sawadogo emphasized the need to develop a modern and effective communications strategy capable of promoting Burkinabe football both nationally and internationally.

The head of the Burkinabe football umbrella organization explained that the partnership would enable the training of teams, acquisition of quality equipment, and implementation of innovative communication actions.

This partnership aligns with the Burkinabe football body's strategy to diversify its partners across various committees. Previously, it established partnerships with La Banque Postale to support the Central Referees Commission, and CAMEG is set to become involved in the players' health committee.
