Ioba/koper: The President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the Koper municipality organized a conference on Monday, December 8, 2025, to raise awareness among the population about the Progressive and Popular Revolution (RPP) and presidential initiatives. This exchange took place in the Koper town hall's reception hall.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the event brought together more than one hundred participants, including key figures from the community, association leaders, citizen watchdogs, traditional chiefs, and youth. In his opening remarks, the President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the Koper municipality, Zakaria Dao, invited the assembly to actively and diligently participate in the conference led by the Provincial Director of Youth and Employment (DPJE) of Ioba, Hadou Sanou.
At the start of his presentation, the DPJE defined the Popular Progressive Revolution before outlining its objectives and clarifying the role of youth. According to Mr. Sanou, the main objectives of the Popular Progressive Revolution focus on restoring territorial integrity, ensuring security and peace for citizens, achieving political and economic sovereignty, and combating corruption and embezzlement.
The speaker emphasized the crucial role of youth in the success of the vision of the President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore. "You are guardians of independence, and you must ensure the dissemination of accurate information and prevent disinformation," he stated.
He also urged the young people of Koper to actively participate in implementing presidential initiatives for the development of their community.
The discussions were marked by contributions and clarifying questions from the participants. The PDS congratulated the DPJE on its informative presentation. He thanked the participants for their engagement and the frankness of the discussions.
He also informed them of the daily opening of the SONAGESS grain purchasing store (rice, corn, and cowpeas) in the village of Dalgane. The meeting concluded with the participants pledging their support for the RPP.
