Ramongo: The municipality of Ramongo held its first extraordinary session of 2026 in the town hall’s reception hall, focusing on strategic issues for municipal development. The meeting brought together the statutory members of the special delegation, heads of municipal services, agents of the technical services of the town hall, and representatives of the decentralized services of the State.
According to Burkina Information Agency, PDS Kouna Yvette Sar© welcomed the participants and expressed gratitude for their availability and commitment to the municipality. She acknowledged the Project to Support the Strengthening of Land and Mining Management (PARGFM) for its support in Ramongo’s development, noting its contributions to infrastructure improvement and local governance.
The president highlighted the significance of the extraordinary session, emphasizing the importance of the issues on the agenda. Participants were urged to demonstrate responsibility and a constructive spirit to ensure discussions lead to beneficial decisions for the community.
The session focused on examining and adopting the minutes of the ordinary session from March 30 and 31, 2026, studying the Land Use Plan (POS) of the municipality, and deliberating on the acceptance of an ambulance donation for the Health and Social Promotion Center (CSPS) of Ramongo.
This session served as a forum for dialogue and decision-making, aiming to address local development concerns. Participants reaffirmed their commitment to contributing to the success of the work and the implementation of resolutions.
The PDS called on the people of Ramongo, technical and financial partners, and supporters to continue their efforts in supporting the commune’s development initiatives for the benefit of current and future generations.
