Ouagadougou: The Burkinabe Football Federation (FBF) has selected the files of six candidates for the final phase of the recruitment process for the national coach of the Stallions A, it was learned Sunday from the supreme body of Burkinabe football.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the selection committee first proceeded to register and examine the 82 applications received. Following an initial phase dedicated to eliminating duplicate and incomplete applications, 67 applications were deemed admissible. A more in-depth review then led to the shortlisting of 28 applications for the third stage of the process.
"A new selection process, based on rigorous technical criteria, professional experience, proposed development vision and knowledge of Burkinabe football, led to the selection of six candidates called upon to take part in the interviews," explained the FBF.
"Heard via videoconference, they successively presented their background, their sporting project, their understanding of the Stallions' environment, their working methodology as well as their salary expectations," continued the Burkinabe football federation.
For the FBF, "all the information gathered will be subject to in-depth analysis in preparation for the final phase, which will lead to the final choice of the national coach in a few days."
