Baskour©:Residents of the commune of Baskour© in Kourittenga province express appreciation for the developments in Burkina Faso over the past four years under Comrade Captain Ibrahim Traor©'s leadership.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the people of Baskour© have observed improvements in security, industrial initiatives, national production, and the empowerment of women and youth. These changes are attributed to the efforts of Captain Ibrahim Traor© and his government, known as MPSR 2.
Jules-Marie Sandwidi, a trader at the local market, described the changes as significant, citing improvements in security, production capacity, and industry investments. He emphasized the importance of equipping the country with its own resources to reduce dependencies.
Emmanuel Belemboago, a singer from Baskour©, also noted the positive changes, highlighting Burkina Faso's increasing reliance on its own strengths and resources. He expressed hope for the continuation of these initiatives and extended his best wishes to the Head of State.
Charlotte Oubda, president of the Pag-La-Yiri Association, praised the focus on women and girls, particularly the Hakili Mousso initiative to encourage female scientific talents. She also emphasized the need for support for women's organizations, especially those aiding displaced and vulnerable women.
Residents of Baskour© plan to participate in commemorative activities in Tenkodogo, using the occasion to discuss their views on the past four years since MPSR 2's inception. They aim to highlight their expectations in areas like security, economic development, employment, and improved living conditions.
The fourth anniversary of MPSR 2 is being marked with a focus on national sovereignty, local production, and the development of national capacities as key priorities for the authorities.
