Ouagadougou: Residents of Dj´r´ donate 15 tons of cement to mark the launch of Faso Mªbo in Dissihn. The sons and daughters of the Dj´r´ region donated 15 tons of cement to the municipality of Dissihn for the benefit of the Faso Mªbo agency on March 28, 2026. The Minister of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts, Serge Gnaniodem Poda, officially presented this donation from the sons and daughters of Dj´r´ to the President of the special municipal delegation (PDS) of Dissihn, Benjamin Nana.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the PDS announced that the receipt of this donation marks the official launch of Faso Mªbo in Dissihn. Speaking in the Dagara language, the Minister of Trade, Gnaniodem Serge Poda, urged every son and daughter of the Dissihn commune to embrace the vision of the President of Burkina Faso by committing themselves, according to their means, to local development. "We must rely on our own resources to lay the foundations for rapid development that benefits all Burkinab¨," he emphasized.
Minister Poda emphasized the need for Burkinabe citizens to unite and take significant steps forward. As a reflection of this spirit, residents of the Dj´r´ region mobilized 15 tons of cement for the presidential initiative Faso Mªbo in the commune of Dissihn. This gesture was warmly welcomed by the local population.
The PDS, Benjamin Nana, acknowledged the presence of the Minister of Industry, Gnaniodem Serge Poda, and the Special Advisor for National Development, Anuyirtole Roland Somda. According to Mr. Nana, this demonstrates a genuine commitment to the socio-economic development of the Dissihn commune. He also urged the residents to remain mobilized for the success of the initiative. "Your trust and active participation are the true driving force behind Faso Mªbo in Dissihn," he emphasized.
