Fada N'Gourma:The "Camp of the Revolution" was inaugurated to accommodate the Phantom 1 garrison. This event was led by Siaka Ouattara, Secretary General of the Goulmou region, and Lieutenant-Colonel Mamadi Sawadogo, Commander of the National Brigade of Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (BVDP).

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony included a symbolic ribbon-cutting and took place alongside the graduation of the fourth class of new Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP). The camp is designed to enhance the reception, training, and intervention capacities of the mixed marching battalion, Fant´me 1.

Construction on the camp began on September 6, 2025, and concluded after several months, with the official handover of keys on March 26, 2026. The camp is equipped with facilities to support both military personnel and VDPs in their training and daily activities, aiming to bolster the security infrastructure in the region.

Second Lieutenant Bienvenue Zerbo, who commands the Phantom 1 garrison, is recognized for his efforts against terrorism and organized crime in the Goulmou, Sirba, and Tapoa regions. The new infrastructure is part of a broader strategy to strengthen forces combating insecurity and reclaim national territory.
