Royal Moroccan Football Federation and Senegalese Olympic Committee Presidents Meet to Enhance Sports Cooperation

Ouagadougou: The president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Mr. Fouzi Lekjaa, hosted Mr. Mamadou Diagna Ndiaye, the president of the National Olympic and Sports Committee of Senegal, at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Sale. The visit aimed at strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise between Morocco and Senegal, particularly in the realm of sports event management.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting involved discussions on each party's experience in organizing sporting events. Both leaders emphasized the necessity of ongoing consultation to enhance organizational capacities. As part of the visit, Mr. Lekjaa extended an invitation to the Senegalese delegation to work closely with the local organizing committee of the Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025. This collaboration aims to facilitate the exchange of practical expertise and to fortify the partnership between Morocco and Senegal in managing sports competitions.

Additionally, Mr. Lekjaa provided insights into the preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, highlighting the strong ties of friendship and cooperation between Morocco and Senegal across various sectors, including sports. The meeting also saw the presence of Her Excellency, the Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal to Morocco, further underscoring the importance of the bilateral relations.
