Sanaba: The Sanaba Basic Education district in Banwa, led by Inspector Jean Konate, assessed two mock exams during a meeting on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting gathered pedagogical supervisors, school principals, CM2 (fifth grade) teachers, and school council presidents at School "A" in Sanaba. They reviewed the regional mock exam and the CEB (Basic Education Certificate) mock exam conducted in the second term of the academic year. Inspector Anselm Kienou, in charge of CEB supervision, presented the results, which did not meet the intended objectives.
The participants analyzed the results, identifying challenges and opportunities, and shared strategies aimed at improving student performance. The discussions focused on ensuring that every child succeeds in the 2026 Primary School Leaving Certificate exam.
A key element of the meeting was the emphasis on the students' "Faso Mªbo" contribution, a program designed to foster patriotism and active participation in building Burkina Faso. Mr. Konate and the local school board president, Lancine Sankara, highlighted the importance of this contribution and encouraged school board presidents and principals to support the initiative, ensuring that students contribute effectively to the nation's development.
