Sandbondtenga: The Kouls© Regional Directorate of the National Police organized a popular cross-country race followed by an aerobics session in Kaya on Thursday for the benefit of the security forces and the civilian population of Kaya, in order to strengthen cohesion between brothers in arms and between defense and security forces and populations, within the framework of the co-production of security.

According to Burkina Information Agency, after a closed circuit of 3 kilometers, the participants, composed of elements from different units of the national police, the gendarmerie, the National Fire Brigade (BNSP), the Water and Forestry Service, as well as merchants from the city, continued with more aerobic exercises, in a friendly and sporty atmosphere.

Chief Commissioner of Police Aboubacar Babiw©fouga Tietiembou, the provincial director who led the activity, praised the "satisfactory" turnout. "These activities will continue monthly to cultivate solidarity among us and keep our troops in excellent shape to face the terrorist threat," he said, while thanking the participants for their commitment to this sporting and civic dynamic.

As part of the activities program of the Kouls© Regional Directorate of the National Police, this initiative aims to strengthen cohesion between the defense and security forces (FDS) and the civilian population, and to promote the co-production of security in Burkina Faso.
