Ouagadougou:The High Commissioner of the Nahouri province, Si Aristide Mohamed Kam, encouraged administrative staff of secondary education to fully support the reforms initiated by the supervising ministry. This call was made during the annual conference held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, in P, aiming to ensure the effective implementation of these reforms.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the conference focused on the theme "Implementation of reforms in secondary education: development of skills through vocational training and scientific and technological education." It gathered administrative staff from both general and technical secondary education sectors in Nahouri to discuss these reforms.

The discussions at the conference addressed key topics, including vocational training approaches, the enhancement of scientific and technological education, the diversification of educational series and specializations, and the promotion of specific pathways in post-primary and secondary education.

Representing the Minister in charge of Secondary Education, Si Aristide Mohamed Kam praised the resilience and dedication of the educational community throughout the 2025-2026 school year. He highlighted that the positive results in various school examinations reflected the hard work and determination of both administrative and teaching staff.

Kam emphasized that the annual meeting serves as a vital opportunity to reassess management practices, deepen understanding of the Burkinabe education system's new directions, and collaboratively identify solutions to current challenges. He urged school administrators to foster an environment open to change within their institutions.

He further advocated for the rationalized management of resources, structured work organization, and a general mobilization of educational actors to encourage innovation and promote a culture of scientific and technological advancement.
