Dori: The High Commissioner of the Seno province, Wulfran Bamas, initiated the 2025 session of certification assessments in Dori, marking a significant milestone for literacy education in the region. These assessments aim to award the literacy certificate (AA) to successful candidates.
According to Burkina Information Agency, 449 students participated in the assessments, with a notable majority of 356 women and 93 men. The candidates were distributed across 15 composition rooms where they undertook evaluations in text studies, arithmetic, and reading.
Despite facing challenges due to the difficult security situation in Seno province, stakeholders in non-formal education (NFE) have managed to maintain literacy education. They have been instrumental in opening and operating centers in regions such as Falagountou, Gorgadji, Sampelga, Seytenga, Bani, and Dori.
The certification assessments commenced in Dori on Monday, May 19, 2025. The heads of the various composition centers reported that the evaluations proceeded smoothly, and the results are anticipated to be released this week.
