Seno: The New Dreppnf Noufou Tao Aims To Improve Access To And Retention Of Learners In The Education System

Dori: The new regional director of preschool, primary and non-formal education (DREPPNF) for Liptako and Soum, Noufou Tao, took office Wednesday in Dori, with the ambition of improving access to and retention of learners in the education system. The installation ceremony, presided over by the Secretary General of the Liptako region, Auguste Kinda, was held in the presence of administrative authorities, key stakeholders, and actors from the educational world.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the new regional director has pledged to work tirelessly to improve access to education and ensure that students and learners remain in the education system. He also stressed the need for effective personnel management and strengthened collaboration with industry partners.

While congratulating the new official, Mr. Kinda invited him to work diligently to consolidate the gains made in the region. He assured the administration of its willingness to support the DREPPNF in fulfilling its mission. The Secretary General also praised the efforts of outgoing Director Elhadji Boubacar, highlighting his role in educational continuity despite the challenges.

Elhadji Boubacar, for his part, expressed his gratitude to the administrative authorities, the defense and security forces, and the education partners for their constant support. The staff of the regional management and the educational supervisors praised his human and professional qualities, while reaffirming their commitment to supporting Noufou Tao in achieving the assigned objectives.

Appointed by the Council of Ministers on March 5, 2026, Noufou Tao succeeds Elhadji Boubacar, who led the organization for four years. With this new appointment, education stakeholders in Liptako and Soum are hoping for a strengthening of the performance of the regional education system, in a context marked by numerous challenges.
