S©gu©n©ga: 697 Students from Civic Education Site Encouraged

S©gu©n©ga: The first Vice-President of the special delegation of S©gu©n©ga, Yacouba Guiro, and a delegation from the citizen watch of the commune carried out a field visit on January 29, 2026, to the civic and patriotic training site within the departmental high school of S©gu©n©ga with the aim of encouraging students taking part in civic and patriotic training.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the First Vice-President emphasized that mentoring high school students is a fundamental lever for the well-rounded development of responsible, disciplined citizens committed to the nation's values. He affirmed that this training is essential for preparing students to become individuals aware of their future, engaged, and responsible citizens. He urged the students to demonstrate diligence, attentiveness, and curiosity throughout the five-week training program.

During the visit, the principal of the S©gu©n©ga Departmental High School, Adama Ou©draogo, addressed the students, highlighting that the modules in this patriotic training session focus on inculcating order and discipline, strengthening civic and patriotic values, and promoting solidarity and living together.

It was noted that this activity is coordinated and conducted by the S©gu©n©ga Territorial Gendarmerie Brigade under the command of Chief Warrant Officer Ou©draogo Souleymane. The commander and his team reassured the first vice-president and his delegation that, in conjunction with the headmaster, all necessary arrangements had been made to guarantee the effective participation of all 697 students from all schools in S©gu©n©ga.
