Pama: Citizens of the Kompienga province have expressed varied opinions on the recent suspension of political parties and their asset transfers to the state. Zakaria Morkana, who works in the informal sector, supports the decision, viewing it as a positive step in the ongoing popular and progressive revolution. Morkana emphasizes the importance of unity moving forward and stresses the need for authorities to remain vigilant. He also considers the asset transfer logical, noting that political parties have previously benefited from state subsidies during elections, and anticipates positive impacts on local infrastructure.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Jean Luc Onadja, president of the provincial coordination of civil society organizations, praised the decision as courageous and necessary. He argues that a country with over 200 political parties fosters division and hatred. Onadja believes that reducing the number of parties will help mitigate underlying resentments and political agendas. He further stated that if regulations permit, the transfer of assets is a logical step.

Bapougba Onadja, a traditional leader at the royal court of Pama, also supports the suspension and asset transfer. He argues that misunderstandings and distortions of the political process have fueled hatred and undermined social cohesion. He highlights the problematic involvement of certain traditional chiefs in political affairs, viewing the decision as beneficial for the community.
