Ouagadougou: The educational supervisors of the Basic Education District (CEB) of Silly conducted a control tour of schools on Monday, September 15, 2026, to ensure the effective presence of teachers and to support the preparations for the 2026-2027 administrative start of the school year.
According to Burkina Information Agency, initiated in the morning under the direction of the Head of the CEB (CCEB), Julcarnine Napon, this mission aimed to verify the number of staff in the field, to take note of the preparatory work and to identify logistical or pedagogical difficulties in order to provide quick solutions.
In Educational Unit No. 5, led by the Inspector of Primary and Non-Formal Education (IEPENF), Tigoul Luc Srm, the delegation visited the schools in Dio, Dio-Sadao, and Kouli. At each location, the supervisor observed a strong commitment from teachers, who were busy preparing for the start of the academic year and cleaning their offices. The few absences recorded were all due to health reasons.
Addressing the teaching staff, Tigoul Luc Srm expressed his satisfaction with their civic-mindedness. "I congratulate you all for respecting the rules by being present. I thank the principals for their excellent management skills and assure you of my complete availability for any needs you may have," he declared, before offering his best wishes for a successful year ahead.
Speaking on behalf of the school administrators in Educational Unit No. 5, Souleymane Zongo, the headmaster of the Dio-Sadao school, praised the motivating support provided. "This mission demonstrates your commitment to education. It is a source of motivation and encourages us to work in the direction you have outlined. Your advice and suggestions will allow us to better manage and organize the activities during this period," he stated.
The tour concluded with a general review at the educational support office. Following the reports from the various teams, the CCEB, Julcarnine Napon, congratulated all the supervisors for the smooth running of the operation, while encouraging them to maintain a consistent presence in the field throughout the 2026-2027 school year.
