Sissili: The Terre et Paix consortium, in partnership with the permanent secretariat of the national observatory for the prevention and management of community conflicts (SP/ONAPREGECC) and with the financial support of the NGO Terre des hommes, organized a training session for its members on community conflict management in the Sissili province from March 17 to 19, 2025, in L©o.

Over the course of three days, participants' skills were strengthened through various modules delivered by a team from the SP-ONAPREGECC. These modules covered topics such as the missions, composition, and functioning of ONAPREGECC, the current state of community conflicts, and the factors and consequences of community conflicts.

The training included missions, techniques for analyzing, preventing, and managing community conflicts, mobilizing resources, and presenting the reporting framework. The discussions also allowed participants to share their experiences on community conflicts.

The High Commissioner of Sissili Province, T©wind© Isaac Sia, thanked the members of OPPREGECC for their full participation in the discussions. Mr. Sia then invited the participants to put into practice the knowledge acquired during the training session to strengthen community conflict management and social cohesion.
