Soum/djibo: The provincial authorities of Soum organized an open day in Djibo on Wednesday aimed at strengthening ties between the administration and the people, through a better understanding of public services and how they work.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the event was initiated under the auspices of the High Commissioner of the Soum province, Wend Nere Wilfried Tougma. It took place in the meeting room of the Djibo town hall, in the presence of several decentralized service officials and citizens. This initiative offered the public the opportunity to discover what goes on behind the scenes and how the various provincial services operate.
High Commissioner Wend Nere Wilfried Tougma emphasized the importance of publicizing the administrative structures that work daily for the well-being of the population. The aim was to promote closer collaboration between the administration and the people. Several organizations participated in the day, including the Provincial Directorate of Family and Solidarity, which presented their missions, organization, and the main difficulties they encounter in their functions.
These direct exchanges have helped to strengthen mutual understanding between public services and citizens, while consolidating the sense of belonging to a united and supportive nation. The organizers praised the strong mobilization of participants and reaffirmed their commitment to working for the development of the Soum province.
