Despite these efforts, compliance with issued ultimatums was lacking, prompting a shift to enforcement actions.The president of the special delegation, Ousseni Ouedraogo, personally led an operation in the village of Yendere on Thursday, April 23, 2026, while the town of Niangoloko saw enforcement led by the secretary general of the town hall, Innocent Sawadogo , on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.
