Tabaski: Muslims in Zabré have faith that Allah will put an end to the suffering of Burkinabè

The Muslims of Zabré celebrated Aid-el-Kébir or the Tabaski feast this Wednesday, June 28 morning in the presence of the administrative and customary authorities.

As usual, it was the imam of the great mosque of Zabré, Cheik Guira Issa, who led, around 8:30 a.m., the great prayer of Eid-el Kebir, the Tabaski festival at the communal stadium. of Zabre.

Once again, the first authorities of the commune, did not fail in the tradition. They were still with their Muslim brothers.

Among others, we note the presence of the first vice-president of the special delegation, Jacques Gouba and the chief of the canton of Zabré, Naaba Kougri.

During the prayer, the imam wished that Allah would guide and protect the country's first official, Captain Ibrahim Traoré.

He called on the Muslims of Zabré to pray for the fighting forces (the defense and security forces and the volunteers for the defense of the homeland) of the locality.

“On this feast day of tabaski, Eid El kebir, we beg Allah to have mercy on his children in Burkina Faso in order to bring them peace for good. Our suffering has lasted too long. But we trust in Allah. It will act in our favour,” he added.

He continued by inviting all the Muslims of Zabré to share the festive meal, especially not forgetting those who do not have to eat that day.

The first vice-president of the special delegation of Zabré, on behalf of the Prefect, president of the special delegation, wished a happy Eid El kebir celebration to the populations of Zabré, Burkina Faso and the whole world.

“Our most ardent wish is that all the good prayers and the best wishes formulated during this Tabaski festival will be granted by God and the manna of the ancestors,” he suggested.

As a reminder, there are three Islamic communities in Zabré. These are the so-called “Muslim community”, the Sunni community and the Ahmadyah community. They all three celebrated Eid El kebir this Wednesday, the feast of Tabaski. They all demand the return of peace to Burkina Faso.
