Abuja: The Tambogo Public Primary School, located in the Basic Education District (CEB) of Ourgou-Man©ga, Bassitenga province, concluded its 2025-2026 school year with an impressive 92.10% success rate in the Certificate of Primary Education (CEP), witnessing 35 of its 38 candidates triumph.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the closing ceremony was a significant event attended by the chief of Tambogo, the head of the Basic Education District, Jean Baptiste Ou©draogo, his team, teachers, students, parents, alumni, and community members. CCEB colleague Jean Baptiste Ou©draogo praised the teaching staff for their outstanding performance and acknowledged the unwavering support from parents and the community, which played a crucial role in the school's success.
The principal of the school, Salif Niki©ma, expressed gratitude towards educational authorities, teachers, parents, alumni, and partners for their continued support. He highlighted that the school's achievements are a result of collective effort and commitment. Niki©ma, who supervised the CM2 class achieving the 92.10% success in the CEP, underscored this collective achievement.
The event included the distribution of school supplies to top-performing students across all classes and teaching materials to educators by the Association of Former Students of Tambogo Public Primary School. Ali Compaor©, representing the alumni, noted that this initiative, though modest, is the beginning of more comprehensive support for the school, focusing on educational and developmental activities.
Additionally, certificates of recognition were awarded to former heads of the Parents' Association (APE) and the Association of Educating Mothers (AME), as well as the CM2 class teacher, acknowledging their dedication and contribution to the school's prestige.
The ceremony also featured a tree-planting activity on the school grounds, symbolizing a commitment to environmental protection and raising awareness among students about the importance of preserving natural resources. This initiative aims to enhance the school environment while promoting sustainability.
