Ouagadougou: Instructions for setting up the municipal youth advisory council were given to young people in Tansila. The representative of the president of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of Tansila, Moussa Ouédraogo, presided, on Saturday July 18, 2026, in the meeting room of the town hall, over a meeting devoted to the instructions for the establishment of the Tansila municipal youth advisory council.According to Burkina Information Agency, members of several associations and organizations, as well as other young people from the municipality, took part in the meeting. The PDS representative first greeted and thanked the young people who had responded to the call, before addressing three essential points: the number of positions to be filled, the conditions to be met to be a member of the executive committee, and the documents to be submitted for the application.Moussa Ouédraogo stated that seven positions are open within the youth executive committee. To be eligible, candidates must, among other things, be of good moral character, available, have experience in community organizations, be of sound mind, reside in the municipality, and be between 15 and 35 years old.The application file must include a handwritten application addressed to the PDS, a photocopy of the CNIB or AES card, a curriculum vitae, and a copy of the receipt of recognition of the candidate's association. The PDS representative clarified that this office is intended to be apolitical and urged future members to demonstrate a spirit of sacrifice in carrying out their mission. He further urged candidates to submit their applications to the town hall no later than Monday, July 20, 2026.
