Ouagadougou: Tengsoba 'B' Public Primary School officially closed its academic year for 2025-2026 this Tuesday. The ceremony, which included recognizing the top students, celebrated an exceptional 100% pass rate on the Primary School Leaving Certificate (CEP).
According to Burkina Information Agency, the atmosphere was festive on Tuesday at the school. Parents, teachers, local authorities, and education partners gathered to celebrate a year of hard work, culminating in a resounding success.
The triumph of merit and effort was evident. Of the 68 regularly registered candidates, including 33 boys and 35 girls, as well as the 2 independent candidates presented by the school, all obtained their precious key.
To reward this quest for excellence, the school administration awarded prizes to the 30 best students of the year, namely the top 5 in each class, from CP1 to CM2. These winners received school kits consisting of backpacks, notebooks, books, and pens.
The school's director, Rahinata Kouanda, expressed her deep gratitude to all those involved in the local education system who contributed to these results. However, she appealed for even greater support from parents in the coming years to maintain this level of excellence.
This call was echoed by the ceremony's patron, Issouf Guebr. While expressing his gratitude to the teaching staff for their dedication, he urged parents to remain involved alongside the educators: "Education is a collective endeavor. Teachers do their part, but parental involvement at home is the glue that consolidates these excellent results," he emphasized.
Present at the ceremony, Jrmy Sinamba, representing the President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of Niaogho, conveyed the congratulations of the local authorities to the entire teaching staff who had "overcome difficulties" to bring the school to the top. He encouraged them to continue in this spirit of excellence.
Looking ahead to the 2026-2027 school year, the Tengsoba 'B' school didn't just celebrate its results. The administration and parents took this opportunity to officially choose the school uniform for the 2026-2027 academic year. This choice aligns perfectly with government directives aimed at harmonizing and promoting the wearing of woven fabric or local textiles in schools.
It was in a festive and friendly atmosphere, punctuated by dance steps and photo sessions, that the actors of the Tengsoba 'B' school met up for the next school year, with the challenge of equaling, if not surpassing, this perfect score.
