Ouagadougou: The representative of the governor of the Nakamb© region, the technical advisor in charge of Culture Nahini Nassouri Norbert, presided, on Saturday in Tenkodogo, over the graduation ceremony of the fourth class of the Sociology program of the University Center of Tenkodogo. Placed under the banner of excellence, discipline and patriotism, this ceremony allowed the new graduates to receive their diplomas and to be invited to put their skills at the service of the development of Burkina Faso.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony brought together officials from the University Centre of Tenkodogo, teachers, parents of students as well as numerous administrative and academic figures who came to celebrate the end of the bachelor’s degree cycle for the class named “Hope”. On behalf of the governor of the Nakamb© region, the technical advisor in charge of Culture congratulated the new graduates for their perseverance and success. He also paid a heartfelt tribute to the parents for the sacrifices they made to ensure their children’s education, as well as to the teachers for their patience and dedication to the transmission of knowledge.
Addressing the graduates, he urged them to honor the name of their class by becoming competent professionals, capable of contributing to social cohesion, the stability of the country, and sustainable development. He encouraged them to always keep in mind the values of patriotism, responsibility, and service to the nation.
Representing the sponsor, the director of studies, Oumarou Sambar©, expressed his delight at the progress of this class who entered the University Centre in October 2023. According to him, the students successfully completed the regular and resit sessions, allowing each of them to obtain their diploma. He indicated that this graduating class is the fourth to leave the institution, praising a journey marked by the positive relationship between students and administration. Convinced of the quality of the training received, Mr. Sambar© expressed his confidence regarding the graduates’ professional integration.
Offering advice to the new graduates, he invited them to remain faithful to the values instilled during their training, including rigor, discipline, integrity, and patriotism, in order to become exemplary workers and worthy ambassadors of the Tenkodogo University Centre.
On behalf of the students, the class representative, Abdoul Mouni Naba, expressed his gratitude to the teachers, administrative staff, parents, and authorities for their support throughout the three years of training. He emphasized that the diploma is not an end in itself, but the starting point for a commitment to serving society. According to him, the “Hope” graduating class intends to use its acquired knowledge to contribute to the development of Burkina Faso, prioritizing dialogue, responsibility, integrity, and patriotism.
The ceremony ended in an atmosphere of joy and emotion, marked by the official presentation of the diplomas, congratulations to the graduates and encouragement from the authorities to continue their journey with determination in service to the Nation.
