As part of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation, the Grand Chancellery of the Burkinabe Orders organized, this Wednesday, October 9, 2024, a major conference in the Center-East region. This initiative, which is part of a dynamic of strengthening the feeling of national belonging, made it possible to raise awareness among participants on the symbols of the Nation, patriotic and civic values, as well as on the Burkinabe orders.An opening ceremony marked by the commitment of regional authoritiesThe conference was opened in the large hall of the Centre-East regional council by the Governor of the region, Colonel Karim Aboudou Lamizana, in the presence of many personalities, including administrative authorities, traditional leaders, as well as representatives of civil society organizations.In his speech, the Governor reaffirmed the importance for each citizen to know and appropriate the symbols of the Burkinabe Nation, which embody our history, our values ??and our unity.En riching communications on Burkinabe symbols and ordersAfter the official opening, the floor was given to Mr. Sigui Gautier Kévin Kaboré, Director of Communication and Public Relations of the Grand Chancellery of the Burkinabe Orders, who presented the first communication on the symbols of the Nation and patriotic and civic values.During his speech, he particularly highlighted the essential role of the national emblem, the coat of arms, the national anthem and the national motto in strengthening national unity and patriotic sentiment.He also stressed the importance for citizens, especially youth, to cultivate the values ??of civic-mindedness, solidarity and love for the homeland.The second communication, presented by Mr. Emmanuel Sorgho, Secretary General of the Grand Chancellery, focused on the Burkinabe orders.
