Ganzourgou: The Regional Director of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education (DREPPNF) of Oubri, Ars¨ne Birba, expressed his satisfaction on Wednesday with the smooth running of the 2026 session of the Primary School Certificate (CEP) and the entrance exam for 6th grade, following a supervisory visit to the single jury installed at the M©guet ”A’ school.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Mr. Birba, accompanied by the regional manager in charge of examinations and competitions, Abdoulaye Soma, as well as the communication officer of the regional directorate, Nasser Woba, visited to observe the progress of the correction work in this jury which brings together all the examination centers of the Basic Education District (CEB) of M©guet.
Mr. Birba stated that this mission is part of the monitoring of the 2026 session of the CEP and the entrance competition to 6th grade in the three provinces under his territorial jurisdiction. He noted the strong mobilization and commitment from all stakeholders, highlighting the dedication of the examiners in M©guet, which he found very encouraging.
The regional director indicated that this was his second visit to Ganzourgou province as part of this supervisory tour. He praised the efforts of those working on the ground to ensure the smooth running of the various phases of the examination.
Mr. Birba also expressed his optimism regarding the expected results at the regional level, predicting a success rate of approximately 92%. He expressed hope that the candidates’ performance would allow them to exceed this threshold, offering congratulations and encouragement to all involved in this mission.
This supervisory visit allowed the top regional official for preschool, primary and non-formal education to ensure the smooth running of the correction operations and to reaffirm his support for all the actors committed to the success of the 2026 session.
